You must buy a hosting account in order to qualify
for a free domain name.
Free domain names can only have the extensions
.com, .net, .org or .info.
Free domain names are registered under the Data
1 Systems name on the whois system. If for whatever reason you need to
switch hosting, if it is within 12 months you will assess a fee of $9.99
before we will release the domain name to you. If you have been with us
for a year we will release it to you at no cost.
If you default on your hosting payments for any
reason, we will make a reasonable effort to contact you concerning your
domain name giving you a chance to assume it. If you cannot be reached
after 30 days, we will assume full ownership of the name and it will
eventually be sold or cancelled all together.
Special circumstances will be considered
including acts of nature and injury or illness. Contact us as soon as
you can if this is the case.
